About me

I’m a British counsellor and Reiki healer based in Stockholm, Sweden. My cultural backdrop is British Croatian by birth and British Pakistani by marriage. I have ADHD, and have many family members with diagnoses of both ADHD and autism.

I have worked within mental health and wellbeing for 30 years, and in private practice as a counsellor and Reiki healer since 2010. I have also previously worked as an outreach and school counsellor. I now work one-to-one with teens and with adults.

I also work as a supervisor, qualifying in early 2026, but with experience in both individual and group peer supervision since 2020. 

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I work within their Code of Ethics. I have current insurance to practice counselling, supervision and Reiki with clients based in the UK and worldwide.

My interests and specialisms

Because of my own background I have a particular interest in the impact of difference, whether cultural, relating to faith and belief, or individual e.g. neurodivergence such as ADHD, autism, PDA, giftedness or sensory sensitivities; mental health problems; or gender, sexual or relationship diversity.

I also work with difficulties relating to life transition points, and their impact on relationships with self and others. These transitions might include:

• Identity including questions around your gender or sexual identity, whether you have ADHD or autism, age-related changes (menopause/andropause), or issues around the twin relationship
• Life changes like marriage, parenthood, or relationship breakdown
• Start or end of life, birth, loss, and death
• Loss of faith or uncertainty surrounding personal beliefs

Transitions can result in existential crisis, where everything you once assumed or expected in life, has been lost. You may feel uncertain or afraid, or wondering, what is my purpose?
